Anabelle Dias has been a practicing attorney in the state of Florida since 1998. She currently handles criminal and family law cases. Anabelle is fluent in French, and also possesses a good understanding and ability to speak in both Spanish and Portugese. She has lived in several countries which has given her an amazing ability to work with diverse backgrounds and make everyone feel comfortable in her presence.
Early on in her career Anabelle worked for five years as an attorney in the felony division of the Leon County Public Defender’s Office. She is aggressive and very compassionate when it comes to representing her clients. Anabelle has extensive trial experience and works well with Offices of the State Attorney’s to receive the best results for her clients. She has experience with all areas of criminal law.
Anabelle is very active in the community through academics and civic measures. She has worked as an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College teaching various undergraduate legal classes. Anabelle has been very involved in the aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina efforts. She collected donations of money and the many needed items, and then actually worked along with others to personally deliver the items to our neighbors in need.
Anabelle believes that communication is the keystone to quality representation of clients. She strives to keep all avenues of communication open to collect information about a client’s case and all options for that person as they proceed through the judicial process. Anabelle goes out of her way to accommodate client’s schedules and their special needs. Anabelle Dias provides quality, compassionate and reasonable legal representation.
Ed Harvey
Edward L. Harvey is Of Counsel to the firm. He received his B.S. from Florida State University in 1971, and graduated with a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1973. He was admitted to practice in Florida in 1974. Before working with the firm, Mr. Harvey retired in May of 2004 after 30 years with the State of Florida. He was a trial lawyer for more than 28 years, trying cases at all levels as an assistant public defender in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Monroe, and Wakulla counties. He also worked in 1973 and 1974 as a legislative assistant with the Florida Senate, and as a staff attorney with The Florida Bar in 1977 and 1978 in CLE Programs. Mr. Harvey joined the firm in February 2007.
David Flynn
Of Counsel to Dias & Associates, David Flynn graduated from Florida State in 2004, where he was in the top 10% of his class. While at law school, he was the Technical Editor for Law review, received the Gene Taylor memorial scholarship, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and worked as Assistant public Defender for 18 months in the misdemeanor and felony division. He excels in analyzing complex legal matters, and his clarity in composing legal briefs is second to none.
Mr. Flynn is very active throughout the northern Florida community in a variety of academic and civic purists. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College, where he enlightens young minds in a number of undergraduate legal classes. During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he and Anabelle Dias collected donations of money and sundry items to donate to those in need. Mr. Flynn is also an expert at the “book” side of being a trial lawyer, and his efforts and passion for justice were absolutely critical in the formation of the firm of Anabelle Dias & Associates.
Sheri Snyder
Sheri Snyder is our Office Manager and acts as our firm liason for clients and collegues. Sheri is passionate, articulate and dedicated to her work. We are proud to have her representing our firm.
Stephanie St. Fleur
Stephanie is from Miami, Florida and a graduating senior studying in criminal justice at FAMU. She is our legal assistant, our criminal intern and liason to the jail, and handles everything while we are in court. She is dedicated, hardworking, always available to assist our clients no matter what time of day.
